Simulator gathers crowds at X Games Oslo 2016

April 8, 2016

The X Games is an international extreme sports event, which gathers top-tier athletes and boasts huge fan attendance. This year it was broad to Oslo, Norway, both winter and summer sports united in one event for the first time.

Our German partners SkyTechSport-Grelich spent all the 5 days, February 24 through 28, in a white tent in Toyen park, one of the main locations of the Games.

2016 is our second year at the show. The team brought and installed the President Ski and Snowboard Simulator as well as our Virtual Reality system with panorama screen.

Despite being quite large (33x50 feet), the tent could not accommodate the entire intrigued crowd. Winter sports fans, who came to see the thrilling show, couldn’t enen imagine to become its actual participants. Dashing down virtual olympic ski courses, everyone could feel just the same electrifying sensations regardless of their level or age.

Norwegians are well known for their outward emotional restraint. But even the organisers of the show did us the honor and came to the tent to tell us that “everyone at the show were talking about the Simulator” and “it was fantastic”!
