August 24, 2016

SkyTechSport-China has launched the largest-scale event in the history of indoor skiing. President Lux ski and snowboard simulators with SkyTechSport VR systems will be installed in largest China’s cities for virtual reality competitions. Over the next 365 days, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen will host mind-blowing ski races.

Each weekend throughout the months of August and September, any visitor of Beijing Wangfujing shopping center in Beijing has a chance buckle in and test his or her skills, muscles and courage on copies of world’s famous ski resorts, including Sochi, Beaver Creek and PyeongChang. The unique event format caused a storm of hype, attracting major sponsors.

It all started on August 13. The first round’s topic was ‘Family Gathering’: parents of all ages and their kids joined their efforts pursuing a chance to compete in the final contest.

Five qualifying events will take place before September 24th, the date of the grand finale. You’ll witness the Combat of Enterprises, Cosplay competitions, and many more themed races. The final contest will be held at China New Media Center. Stay tuned for photo and video reports!
