Ski simulator concept began, SkyTechSport was created
SkyTechSport was born from the enthusiasm of highly-skilled engineers, pro athletes, tech geeks, and visionaries who do not abide by limitations and stagnancy. After noticing that workout equipment in gyms and other training facilities hasn’t improved for decades, we committed to revolutionize the sports equipment industry. Our determination to create cutting-edge experiences has led us to incorporate artificial intelligence, virtual reality and innovative engineering.
We felt that the entire gym equipment industry has been stagnant for decades. Machines have transitioned from black to gray but treadmills and bikes still have the brain of a calculator. We believe that our mission is to challenge that. We bring real snowsports indoors for those who live far from the mountains or are unable to travel there often; for those who have never skied or snowboarded before; or for those who no longer can walk, but still wants to ski.
With years of research and development we were able to bring the best innovations upfront and pack award-winning technology into our equipment. Vigorously tried and tested by the World’s best athletes, our simulators are the best tool for accomplishing ambitious goals, for beginners or Olympic medalists.
There are bumps in the road in every journey. When designing our simulators we paid special attention to injury rehab and have created adaptive platforms to help you get back to doing what you love. Train, workout, do PT or just have fun!
Ski simulator concept began, SkyTechSport was created
Launch of office in Munich, Germany.
SkyTechSport released a custom graphics engine that ran ski trails on a giant multi-projector screen. Ski & Snowboard Simulators were sold to over 20 countries.
Launch of the U.S. office in Los Angeles, CA. SkyTechSport began working on a boxing simulator concept.
SkyTechSport released the new Downhill Pro Simulator with real replicas of World Cup racetracks
The first working prototype of BotBoxer was completed. SkyTechSport became an official partner of U.S. Ski & Snowboard Olympic Team.
SkyTechSport partnered with PSIA-AASI to introduce official simulator training guidelines.
SkyTechSport released a new user interface for the ski simulator to enable online racing and world-wide ranking.
BotBoxer was presented to the public for the first time.
Official release of the BotBoxer Play!
Introduction of the SkyTechSport app and new user interface 4.0 for both the ski simulator and the BotBoxer. Ski & Snowboard Simulators were sold to over 50 countries.
Introduction of SkyTechSport Plus – a subscription service that delivers the latest trails, games, and experiences to both simulators.
